BIOGRAPHY

Traces of the past,
human stories.

Buket Sivri was born in Bakırköy, Istanbul. While studying economics, she entered professional life, but her interest in childhood memories, human relationships and collective memory eventually led her to literature.

Her first novel, İnsan Unuturum Sanır, reached readers in 2019. It was followed by Güz Basamakları and Yedi Yıla İki Gün. Her short stories have appeared in Edebiyatist magazine and in collections published by Düş Tıkırtıları.

Married and a mother of two, Buket Sivri continues to live and write in Istanbul.
